When should I do winter seeding?

We do winter seeding from the second half of Fall through the first half of Winter.

What is thatch?

Thatch is a layer of decomposing plant material that lies on top of the soil, surrounding the base of the grass. Having some thatch is a regular part of healthy grass but over time it keeps building up until it gets very thick. We remove some of the thatch layer to ensure that the new seeds reach the soil.

Why do you cover the seed with mulch?

The mulch will protect the seed from birds and the weather until it can take root in the soil. After this the mulch should decompose on its own.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, we guarantee our seeding services. If you any problems just let us know.

Do you have a minimum price?

Yes, we only take seeding jobs of $120 or more, which means at least 400 square feet.

When can you do the work?

First, we require that an estimator comes out to measure your yard and give you the final price. Then, if you accept the quote we can schedule the job as soon as possible, which is usually within 2 business days.
